Hi Everyone,

After yet another rewrite of the authorization and preferences code, 
I think we finally have something stable that we can build on.

I have lots of documentation to write, which I'll post later, but 
wanted to get something up for testing.

We have split the video drivers into 2 separate products:

    IOXperts Webcam Driver             ($20)
    IOXperts Industrial Camera Driver  ($99)

Hopefully the names are more descriptive.

The Webcam driver is for all usb cameras, plus inexpensive (sub $200) 
FireWire webcams based on the TI TSB15LV01 chip set (iPot, Pyro, 
etc.) plus the Apple iSight.

The Industrial Camera driver is for high end IIDC cameras (usually 
over $1000) and includes specific support for many cameras, 
especially Bayer cameras and the Sony SX-series, Basler 
600f(c)-series, and many Point Grey cameras.

I've explicitly avoided the term "IIDC" here as there are IIDC 
cameras on both lists -- I'd appreciate any feedback here.

Due to a QuickTime which we're trying to work around, if you install 
both drivers, only the industrial driver will work -- you can work 
around this by finding in in /Library/Components and renaming the 
file -- whichever one is alphabetically first will load. (Grr.)

The big improvements are:

1) Support for multiple cameras (finally)

2) No more customization during install

3) Support for IIDC raw and Bayer formats (documentation coming)

4) Works properly with Fast User Switching in 10.3.x

Known issues:

1) Webcam/Industrial drivers don't load at the same time

2) Camera Control only sees first camera

3) Need to re-test with QuickTime broadcaster

At this point, I've very interested in getting feedback on basic 
stability and any application-specific compatibility issues.
