IOXperts Camera Controls with Phillips SPC900NC & Intel Mac Pro

My System: Phillips SPC900NC with Intel Xeon Mac Pro

Regarding the IOXperts Camera Control app, I have set Color tab to  
Black & White, and saved my settings under the General tab, but each  
time I start an app that calls upon the camera (tested with Flash in  
Safari, & with Quartz Composer), the camera toggles between Black &  
White and Color, i.e. Camera is presented in Black & White (as is set  
in Camera Control settings), then if I close my webcam instance and  
reopen it, it will then be in color, then close & reopen, it is in  
black and white. The Camera Control settings reflect this, with Black  
& White being checked, and not checked, respectively.
I hope this is clear.

Also, the image tab of Camera Control settings are reset to neutral  
positions (all 50) whenever a new webcam instance is created in an  
app, even if I clicked to save them in the General tab.
