Greetings.

Just to report that I've tried the new 1.2b5 driver with my Logitech
QuickCam Pro 5000. It's nice to finally see a picture appearing on the
screen from this troublesome cam -- excellent progress!

Unfortunately, that's mostly where it ends. Just a single opening
frame. Sometimes (somewhat rarely/randomly?) in iMovie HD, the preview
window will keep updating for a while, but recording kills it again
(sticks on just the opening frame). The Skype Video Preferences pane
give just the one shot. (The "later" button is getting clicked on the
registration window each time it appears, for what that's worth.)

What can I provide by way of more useful information, aside from the
fact I'm running OS X 10.5.2, on a MacBook with all latest updates, as
of the writing?
