There was a problem with 1.1b44 where the driver could not talk to 
its daemon after a reboot -- the symptom would be a -600 error.

I'm working to 2 bugs involving incorrect-size video on a Philips 
Vesta and bad decompression if a Philips Vesta and ToUCam are 
connected at the same time, otherwise this driver looks pretty stable.

I'd like feeback as to wether it's ready to be put out as a public beta.
