Quickcam Pro 5000 works and vanishes

Using the latest beta driver: 1.1.2a22

and Tiger OSX 10.4.8

I can get my Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000 to work fine with Skype and  
iStopmotion..

So clearly your update work has been fruitful, for which many thanks.

However, the webcam will lose its connection for no apparent reason  
and I won't be able to see it again unless I re-install the driver.

Possibly it follows 'Sleep' mode, possibly there's contention issues  
with other USB devices on the same hub.

But a simple 'Re-Start' doesn't find it again.

Anyone else see this behaviour?
