Lucent Orinoco firmware update killed my WEP & registration!

I have updated the firmware on my Lucent Orinoco Silver card and now
IOXperts 802.11b driver says it's not registered any more!

I am using MAC address filtering and WEP 128 on my WAP and have
verified that the firmware update didn't change my card's MAC address
(maybe the unique number used for registration is based on more than
the MAC address?). I can verify this because my WAP's MAC address
filtering would not allow me to connect if the MAC address had changed,
but I can connect.

Also (now running in demo mode) I can't connect to the WAP unless I
allow non-encrypted connections. I haven't changed any settings in the
IOXperts preferences either. I even re-entered all the IOXperts
settings for my WAP several times and even re-entered the settings on
the WAP (i.e. SSID, WEP key & type).

I'm going to email IOXperts support and ask if they can re-issue me a
serial number in hopes that will fix the registration and WEP.
